Volpara Health Technologies (“Volpara”), which provides clinically validated software for the early detection of breast cancer, has been certified as a B Corporation.
The B Corp certification is conducted by B Lab, a non-profit network dedicated to transforming the global economy by supporting for-profit companies that prioritise people and the planet. The certification signifies the company is a leader in meeting high standards of social and environmental performance. Volpara now joins c.4,600 companies that meet B Lab’s criteria but is one of the few companies in its industry to hold the accreditation.
With the aim of reducing mortality rates and the cost of breast cancer treatment, Volpara is a purpose-driven firm focused on saving families from cancer. The key pillars which comprise Volpara’s strategy include improving cancer detection, building a principled and resilient business, supporting a thriving workforce of dedicated staff members, and practicing responsible climate stewardship.
